Chapter 4

Front-Panel Menus

This chapter provides an overview of the terms and selections available in the front-

panel LCD window. Default parameter values are shown in bold.

4.1 Power On Key Functions

The Setup and Enter keys cause special functions to be executed when held down

while power is being cycled.

4.1.1 Setup

Holding the Setup key down during power cycling causes the unit to enter the

firmware download mode. The following text will be displayed

Ready to Load

ESC to Abort

The unit will return to the normal boot sequence if ESC is pressed.

4.1.2 Enter

Holding the Enter key down during power cycling causes all factory default settings

to be restored. The following text will be displayed:

Factory Defaults

SETUP=Yes ESC=No

Pressing Setup at this point will load the factory default settings and then continue the

boot sequence.

Pressing ESC at this point will skip the factory default loading and continue the

normal boot sequence.
